Applications· Hospital corner-bay beds — the primary use case; creates a neat two-sided privacy enclosure for beds positioned in corners
· Single-bed side rooms — L-shape curtain across the room opening and one adjacent wall for maximum privacy
· Examination rooms — divides examination areas in two planes for patient privacy during clinical procedures
· Outpatient consultation areas — flexible partition between consultation zones without permanent wall installation
· Nursing home and long-term care rooms — corner-bay configuration for private patient areas
· Emergency department triage bays — fast-install two-sided privacy for corner triage positions
Installation Steps1. Determine both arm lengths of the L from your bay floor plan (measure from corner outward along each wall).
2. Mark ceiling or wall anchor points at 400–500 mm intervals along both arms.
3. Install mounting brackets (supplied) at marked anchor points.
4. Connect the two straight track sections using the 90° corner connector (supplied) to form the L-shape.
5. Thread carrier hooks onto the track before fitting end caps. Carriers pass freely through the corner connector.
6. Fit end caps to both open ends of the assembled L-shape track.
7. Secure the assembled track to the installed brackets.
8. Hang hospital curtains by threading mesh header eyelet hooks onto the carrier hooks.
9. Slide curtains to confirm smooth operation through the corner section.
Note: Ceiling or wall mounting brackets are interchangeable. Select based on your ceiling structure and available fixing points.
Product Advantages· Continuous single-profile corner — no join gap at the 90° bend; curtains slide through without catching
· Ceiling or wall mount — adaptable to different room structures without additional components
· Lighter profile than MC-45 — appropriate for standard ceiling-height installations; lower material cost
· Fast installation — pre-formed 90° connector eliminates on-site bending or cutting of the corner
· Consistent carrier system — same carrier hook as MC-20U; mixed L and U installations use common spares
· Factory-direct supply — custom arm lengths cut to specification; no on-site trimming needed
FAQQ: How is the 90° corner formed — is it a pre-bent track or a connector?
A: The MC-20L uses a pre-formed 90° corner connector that joins two straight track sections. Carriers pass freely through the connector, ensuring smooth curtain movement through the full corner arc.
Q: Can the MC-20L be wall-mounted instead of ceiling-mounted?
A: Yes. The mounting brackets supplied with the MC-20L are suitable for both ceiling and wall installation. Select the appropriate fixing point based on your room structure.
Q: Can I order custom arm lengths for each side of the L?
A: Yes. Both arms of the L-shape can be specified independently. Please provide both dimensions when ordering.
Q: Is the MC-20L compatible with MC-280 series curtains?
A: Yes. All MC-280 series curtains use standard eyelet hooks compatible with the MC-20L carrier system.
Q: What is the difference between the MC-20L and MC-20U?
A: The MC-20L is an L-shape (two-sided, 90° corner) track. The MC-20U is a U-shape (three-sided) track for open-ward bed bays where the bed is surrounded by curtain on three sides. They share the same profile dimensions and carrier system.
Q: Can I combine MC-20L and MC-20U sections in the same installation?
A: Yes. Because they share the same profile size and carrier system, MC-20L and MC-20U sections can be joined in the same installation to create custom ward layouts.
