Q: When should I upgrade from MD-01P (PVC) to MD-01T (TPU) for a guidance path?
A: Upgrade to TPU when: the guidance path is outdoors and exposed to direct sunlight and weather; the path is in a very high-traffic area such as a major transit concourse; the path will be cleaned with industrial floor-scrubbing machines; or the project specification requires a 15+ year service life without tile replacement. For standard indoor applications, MD-01P provides fully adequate performance.
Q: Is MD-01P available in colours other than yellow?
A: Yes. MD-01P is available in yellow (standard), black, grey, red and custom colours — the same colour range as MD-00P. For systems where the warning and guidance tiles are specified in different colours, both tile types are available in matching colour specifications.
