Additional notes for stainless steel:
· For mirror polished finish, protect the bar surface with tape or cloth during installation to prevent scratching from tools
· Use stainless steel fixing screws (SUS304 minimum) in all wet-area installations — galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals will stain the wall and bar surface
· Clean the bar surface with stainless steel cleaner (not abrasive cleaners) after installation to remove any fingerprints or tool marks before handover

Q: What is the standard grab bar diameter for ADA compliance?
A: ADA Section 609.2 requires grab bar gripping surfaces to have an outside diameter between 1.25 and 2 inches (32–51mm). Our GB-023S is available in 32mm and 35mm diameter — both within the ADA-compliant range. The 35mm diameter is the most commonly specified for hospital and commercial installations.
Q: Which surface finish is easiest to maintain in a hospital bathroom?
A: Satin brushed finish is the recommended specification for hospital environments. It hides minor surface marks and water spots better than mirror polished, and is easier to clean without showing cleaning streaks. Mirror polished is preferred in hotel and hospitality environments where the visual appearance is the priority.
